Validate Envelope - Chrome Extension for Attorneys in Illinois

Validate Envelope is a Chrome extension developed by dupage18 that is specifically designed for attorneys in the state of Illinois, USA. This free extension is a useful tool for attorneys who are logged into the CRIS (Clerk Restricted Information System) application.

The main purpose of this extension is to validate the envelope information, such as attorneys and case parties. Attorneys can use this extension to review and validate pending envelopes from the Tyler Reviewer Application. If the envelope is filed on an existing case, the logged-in attorney can verify information about case parties, attorneys, existing documents, and future schedules related to the case. For envelopes related to new cases, attorneys can validate if the attorneys added to the envelope are valid and active attorneys of the state.

The basic functionality of this extension involves retrieving required data from the Tyler reviewer portal web page and retrieving information from the CRIS application based on the data obtained from the Tyler reviewer portal.

To use the extension, attorneys need to open the Tyler reviewer portal and log in with their valid reviewer credentials. From the "Review Queue" menu, they can select the envelope they want to get information about. By clicking on the extension, the extension will fetch the values of "Case Number" and "Case Cross Reference" from the current web page and pass them to the CRIS application.

Overall, Validate Envelope is a valuable tool for attorneys in Illinois, providing them with a convenient and efficient way to validate envelope information and ensure the accuracy and validity of case-related data.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
